My dad gave me my first fantasy novel when I was seven, and I have been an avid reader ever since. I fell in love with mythical worlds and began reading about world mythologies soon after. This turned into a love of reading, researching mythical beings, and writing. By combining these passions, I created my own world and stories that made it come to life.
This desire to create fantastical worlds could not have started without first being inspired by my mother. I had read many stories, but was not certain I could write any myself until I saw an unfinished novel my mother had written. This unfinished novel showed me that anyone could weave words into worlds.
I now have a passion for entering magical worlds by way of reading and writing whenever I have the opportunity. Writing has become more than a passion, to me it has become as effortless and necessary as breathing. I found strength and a haven in writing. In the worlds that I created I could become anything and it was through these worlds where I found myself.
